1) N. Mississippi: A former frozen yogurt storefront on N. Mississippi is now home to Yara Lebanese Cuisine. According to NeighborhoodNotes, the two-story restaurant can seat up to 150 guests, bakes its flatbread in-house and offers a menu with 15 different mezze, schwarma and falafel sandwiches, and composed kabab plates. 2) Downtown/PSU: One fro-yo store closes, another opens: Self-serve frozen yogurt spot TartBerry has opened its second location, inside PSU's University Pointe building at SW College Street. The spot, dubbed TartBerry Too, offers flavors like pistachio cupcake and cookie ice cream sandwich. Hours of operation: 11:30a.m. to 11:30p.m., seven days a week. [EaterWire]

3) NW/Alphabet District: A new coffee roaster has debuted in NW — Local Roasting Co. offers espresso, drip coffee, lattes, and beans by-the-pound from its storefront/coffeeshop at NW 19th and Lovejoy Street.
