Over at the Oregonian, recently ousted Bluehour chef Thomas Boyce dishes about his surprising dismissal, saying that owners Bruce Carey and Joe Rogers "were hoping to recapture what the happy hours were like when they were a lot more successful and a lot more busy." Also, on future plans to own his own restaurant: "I have a lot of ideas bouncing around my head. Either high-end or something more casual or something a lot more casual.
