WEST END/PEARL DISTRICT—Three ChefStable spots are now offering catering to west side diners. Lardo, Oven & Shaker, and Gruner have each unveiled catering and delivery menus, "from full service staffed events to convenient delivery and set up catering." For $125, Oven & Shaker will throw a "pizza party for 10," with five pizzas and four salads. Gruner's cheese and charcuterie platters are designed to serve 10 people each, at $100 and $120 respectively; Lardo's sandwich menu is available as part of brown bagged lunches — or a 20-person "porchetta party" can be had for $250. The full menu can be downloaded here; More information by emailing here. [EaterWire]
PEARL DISTRICT—Looks like the Pearl's coffeeshop/wine-and-cheese-bar SuperJet has officially called it quits. The shop temporarily shuttered in late October 31 after suffering flooding in its basement (signage in the shop announced "We are sorry that we can not serve you right now, and we appreciate your patience while we dry off and make it better. SuperJet will rise again.") However, a tipster reports that the interior has been cleared, and a "for lease" sign back up in the window. UPDATE: The NW Examiner reported about the closure earlier this month (warning: pdf). [EaterWire]
NORTHEAST—In case anyone needs encouragement to drink 50 full pours of rum — not at all once, obvs — tiki bar Hale Pele has launched a "Loyal Order of Fire Drinkers" program that involves drinkers working their way through a map of 50 different rums. Those who complete the quest, liver damage or no, will receive a medallion noting their achievement. More information here. [EaterWire]
