Loving the Lowbrow

The Oregonian takes a look at the "lowbrow" bars that offer killer beer selections: Though they're not known as beer-drinker destinations, unassuming spots like A & L Sports Pub (with 30 beers on tap), Roscoe's (20 craft brews), and Kenton Station (20 taps) break the mold. Says Oregon Brewers' Guild director Brian Butenschoen: "It's all about the consumers saying what they want. They want the seasonal. They want the IPA from the up-and-coming brewery.
