Since Metrovino's closure last month, longtime Metrovino bartender Jacob Grier has landed at North Portland's The Hop & Vine, launching a new cocktail menu (downloadable .pdf). Unsurprisingly, the list features two beer cocktails (like the Averna Stout Flip (Averna, Ninkasi Oatis oatmeal stout, Angostura bitters, a whole egg, and nutmeg), plus nine other drinks, including new cocktails (a Yuzu Sour, and the "Black and Tannin," with rum, apple cider, tonic, and cinnamon) and the resurrection of Metrovino's popular "Shift Drink."
