Boxer Ramen is (finally) ready to make it official: Eat Beat reports that Micah Camden's much-anticipated ramen spot will finally open its doors for lunch on November 1, after an ramen free-for-all on October 31 that will distribute free bowls from noon to 3p.m. Camden, the impresario behind Little Big Burger and the affiliated Boxer Sushi, has been hosting a month's worth of "soft openings" as the team nails down flavors.
A ramen menu board from early October:
PoMo's Karen Brooks confirms most of this tipster's photo of the Boxer menu board: Two varieties of ramen are on offer, plus dishes like "Japanese fried chicken and curry; and seasonal salads like kabocha squash with spicy candied walnuts." Not pictured: a menu board entirely dedicated to mochi, sourced from Maui's famed Bubbies Handmade Ice Cream and Desserts. More as it becomes available.
