Daniel Patterson in PDX; Rescue Bagels Shutters

DIVISION/CLINTON— Local supperclub Coquine will host chef Daniel Patterson (of the two-Michelin-starred Coi) during a release party that celebrates Patterson's anticipated cookbook Coi: Stories and Recipes. The dinner, scheduled for November 2 at the SE Wine Collective, will feature courses by Coi alum Katy Millard; Patterson will be on-hand to talk about the book and sign copies. Reservations are $85 (including a copy of the book), or $100 for two guests. More information here. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN— An update from Portland's always changing bagel scene: The Oregonian reports that Rescue Bagels has closed its two downtown carts because "our production space no longer had the capacity for our quickly-growing operation." The spots are at least temporarily closed, though Michael Russell notes that a new tenant has been found for at least one of the carts. [OregonLive]

BEAVERTON— In an offshoot of the Portland Food Adventures dinner series, Paley's Place chefs Vitaly Paley and Patrick McKee will host and interactive demo at Beaverton's Standard TV & Appliance. The event, on October 28, culminates in a three-course dinner cooked up by the chefs; tickets are $50 (with the promo code JennAirGuest) and available here. [EaterWire]
