OLD TOWN—Chef/owner Scott Dolich will celebrate the 10th anniversary of his storied farm-to-table spot Park Kitchen with an all-out bash on Saturday, November 2. The seven-course dinner will see many PK alums back in the kitchen — including David Padberg, Will Preisch, Meat Cheese Bread's John Stewart, and Steve Jones, among others — collaborating on courses. Dinner will be paired with several wines and cocktails by a similarly star-studded bartender alum lineup (Adam Robinson, Kevin Ludwig, and Mary Bartlett). Reservations are $225, with proceeds benefiting Chapman Elementary School. [EaterWire]
ST. JOHNS—Neighborhood bottleshop Barrique Barrel will soon be able to pour beer and wine in-house. Owner Lisa Szot says her two-year-old spot will remain primarily a bottleshop with to-go focus, but a new "tasting bar" will soon offer wines by the glass, two beers on tap, one cider, and bottles un-corked/capped at the counter (customers are welcome to bring in tacos and burritos from Tienda Santa Cruz). Says Szot, "we should be fully up and running by mid-November." [EaterWire]
DIVISION/CLINTON—The once online-only Portland Juice Press has opened up its third retail location, inside Division's new D-Street Village. (Its other juice bars can be found on SE Powell and inside the Pearl's Firebrand Sports.) Hours of operation: 8a.m. to 6p.m., Monday through Thursday; 9a.m. to 5p.m., Friday through Sunday.
