Celebrated chef Sean Brock recently unleashed his first-ever fried chicken dish (at the Nashville location of Husk), and he tells Eater Nashville that the inspiration came from a surprising source: beloved Portland dive Reel M Inn. Says Brock: "It's just one lady behind the bar, you order the fried chicken, she goes over to the freezer, pulls it out, drops it in the fryer. And it was great.
