"Healthy convenience store" Green Zebra Grocery will open its first location, in the Kenton neighborhood, tomorrow, October 8. The Oregonian brings major details about the food prepared on-site: The mini-grocery features a salad line, Stumptown and St. Johns coffee, fresh-pressed juice, and a food menu including "tomato-fennel soup, a chicken salad sandwich on walnut fig bread, and a grass-fed lamb gyro on pita." Two additional locations, in Woodstock and South Tabor, are slated to open in 2014. [OregonLive; previously]
