NE ALBERTA— There's a switcheroo afoot at NE Alberta's beer bus: The New School reports that the famed Captured By Porches bus, permanently parked at Alberta and 23rd, has been sold and will re-open next year as the Hoppy Camper. The new beer bus will offer eight craft beers on tap (not just exclusively Captured by Porches), with plans to add on-board coolers to sell as many as 50-75 bottles to go. [New School]
NORTHEAST— Now that the flurry of Oktoberfest events are over, NE's Alma Chocolate celebrates its own form of excess with Choctoberfest, featuring seven chocolate-and-beer pairings from some of PDX's best chocolatiers (think Xocolatl de David with Full Sail, Pearl Chocolate with Base Camp, and Woodblock with Burnside Brewing). The celebration takes place tomorrow (October 10) at Alma's event space; tickets are $25 and available here. [EaterWire]
DIVISION/CLINTON— Division's Mexican restaurant Xico has designed every Monday from here on out "Margarita Monday," offering $5 margs all night long. [EaterWire]
