You guys: The Portland man who reported "roving bands of sous chefs" were illegally foraging from his yard has admitted the story that aired on KATU was a prank. Martin Connolly appeared on Funemployment Radio to continue the joke, saying "I owe the sous chef community an apology. It was wrong of me to disparage sous-chef Americans by implying that they all wear beard nets." According to Connolly, the trespassing/foraging on his property is actually a problem, though his over-the-top report on KATU was embellished. Listen in starting at the -16:00 mark. [Funemployment]
