According to the magical world of OLCC applications, the owner of SW Portland's international grocery Barbur World Foods plans to take over the Pearl's recently closed Local Choice Market. Per OLCC paperwork, John Attar plans to open a market called World Foods in the space. Attar's wife, Mirna Attar, also happens to be the longtime chef/owner of Ya Hala Lebanese.
