Typhoon Relief Dinner at Beast; Farewell Meal at Fratelli

NORTHEAST— Chef Naomi Pomeroy will host a cadre of all-star chefs for a fundraising dinner benefiting Typhoon Haiyan relief efforts. Chefs Jason French (Ned Ludd), Greg and Gabrielle Denton (Ox), Vitaly Paley (Paley's Place), and Paul Bachand (Recipe) will join Pomeroy at Beast on Tuesday, November 19. The chefs will collaborate for a six-course dinner (including wine pairings and a cocktail by Expatriate's Kyle Webster); reservations are $250 and 100 percent tax-deductible. PEARL DISTRICT/VANCOUVER— Chef Paul Klistie will throw a "farewell" meal at his now-shuttered Fratelli on Tuesday, November 19 that doubles as a fundraiser for typhoon relief. A $10 donation nets guests a starter and cocktail (with 20 percent of proceeds given to Mercy Corps). Meanwhile, Klistie's Vancouver spot Willem's on Main will also hold a typhoon fundraise on Thursday, November 21, with 20 percent of all the evening's sales going to the efforts. [EaterWire]
