On this week's event-planning EaterWire:

OLD TOWN— Chef Katy Millard will bring her pop-up Coquine Supper Club to Old Town's KitchenCru space on Sunday, December 1, offering two options for potential diners: an extended prix fixe menu at the Cru's chef's counter ($60), or a three-course prix fixe to be enjoyed in the dining room ($40). The menu's still under wraps, but a similar dinner last week saw courses like grilled puntarella with chestnut-shallot puree and an entree of pheasant with roasted sunchokes. Reservations available by emailing here.

E. BURNSIDEPix Patisserie's annual Fete du Macaron will celebrate the world's best sandwich cookie this Saturday, November 30, featuring more than 30 macaron flavors in the Pix pastry case. Confectioner Cheryl Wakerhauser will solidify the macaron's supremacy with the patisserie's annual "cupcake stomp," and of course, the deep-fried macaron will also be on-hand.

NW 23RD/ALPHABET DISTRICT— The Fireside will join forces with Mark Bitterman of the Meadow for a "Bittered Holiday Soirée" on Sunday, December 1. The event — which doubles as a benefit for the Oregon Food Back — will see Bitterman team with chef Henry Kibit for a three-course dinner, featuring plates like duck marinated in house root beer bitters and baked apple bitters ice cream with pumpkin cookie. Reservations are $65 for three courses (including cocktail pairings); snag yours by calling 503-477-9505.
