Make it dos: According to the magical world of liquor license paperwork, Oswaldo Bibiano (of Autentica and Mextiza) will soon open a second outpost of his popular taqueria Uno Mas, this one slated for the west side. Papers filed with the OLCC reveal Bibiano plans to take over the W. Burnisde space once home to the Portland Urban Bistro (which opened in February of this year and quietly shuttered this fall) and Soi 9. Early plans are for a 48-seat restaurant that keeps serious late-night hours (most pressingly to Timbers fans: the space is a stone's throw from Jeld-Wen Field).
Bibiano debuted his Uno Mas concept in September 2012, opening the tacos-only counter inside NE's microrestaurant complex the Ocean. More information about the upcoming west side location as it becomes available.
