After a stint helping to transition Trent Pierce's Wafu into Block + Tackle, chef Daniel Mondok is now the executive chef of the Food in Bloom catering company. According to a press release, Mondok takes over the position from longtime chef Billy Schumaker (who's now working on the much-anticipated resurrection of his beloved spot Taqueria Nueve). Before Wafu/B+T, Mondok was the executive chef/part owner of wine country spot Paulee and, of course, Sel Gris. [EaterWire]
