After a five-year stint in the kitchen at downtown's still-hopping Clyde Common, chef Chris DiMinno has confirmed intentions to move on in early 2014. FoodDude was first to spot a job posting (placed on the Seattle outlet of PoachedJobs — clever) seeking a new head chef for the Nate Tilden-owned spot in the Ace Hotel: According to the post, "Our head chef of the past five years has been offered an amazing opportunity, and although we are sad to see him depart, we are even more excited to see him take the next step in his career."
DiMinno tells Eater that he's indeed departing for a new gig, though is unable to divulge details just yet. But he does confirm the timeline: DiMinno's time in the Clyde kitchen ends in late January 2014. More as it becomes available.
