Watch a Trailer for Farang, the Andy Ricker Documentary

Pok Pok chef/empire builder Andy Ricker is getting the documentary treatment: Eater National has unleashed the trailer for Farang (Thai slang for "white foreigner"), the first-ever full-length food feature by Vice. The movie — filmed as Ricker prepares to open his SE Division noodle spot Sen Yai — follows Ricker on his travels to Thailand and features cameos by some familiar folks, including Stumptown's Duane Sorenson, cookbook co-author JJ Goode, and Karen Brooks, who favorably describes Ricker as one who "really shows how far obsession can go."

Farang will premiere on Vice in spring 2014, but for now, catch the trailer below. Go, watch:
