Laughing Planet Goose Hollow; Pazzo's Chef Celebration

GOOSE HOLLOW— Local chainlet Laughing Planet has officially opened its newest location, a Satellite cafe featuring a "fast service Grab-n-Go program" geared to diners that won't be dining-in. The restaurant, in the former Irah's Coffee & Yogurt Lounge space at SW Jefferson and 18th, will serve a "greatest hits" version of the Laughing Planet menu, and also features the Portland debut of a rarity in the LP world: breakfast burritos. Laughing Planet Goose Hollow is open now. Hours of operation: 9a.m. to 8p.m., daily. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN— Downtown stalwart Pazzo will celebrate the 10th anniversary of current chef John Eisenhart's tenure with a special menu launching in the new year. Starting in January, the Pazzo menu will be dedicated to some of Eisenhart's favorite dishes over the past 10 years, with the "greatest hits" menu available a la carte. The restaurant will also offer several 2004-year wines at a discount of $10 per glass, and an Amarone and Brunello originally priced at $40 each for $20.04 per glass. More information here. WEST END/HAWTHORNE— The Country Cat's Adam Sappington is the next chef on-tap for Lardo's recurring "guest Chefwich" series. Sappington is offering the same dish that won him the Sandwich Invitational at Feast Portland 2013: a lamb burger with smoked tomato jam and fennel slaw. As with all Chefwichs, a portion of proceeds benefits charity, this time the Oregon Humane Society. [EaterWire]
