The Oregonian investigates the influx of Momofuku alumni who have recently-ish decamped to Portland, including Johanna Ware (who opened Smallwares), Rob Walls (of Double Dragon), and Adam Robinson (now tending bar at Rum Club). Says Ware: "Being able to do your own thing is more of a reality or is perceived that you can come out here (to Portland) and get it done... People just look at it as the promised land." [OregonLive]
