maurice175illo.jpgOn the official website for her upcoming pastry luncheonette Maurice, Kristen Murray reveals some menu details for the hybrid bakery/diner. The daytime luncheonette will feature oysters on the half-shell, goat-filled bisteeya (savory meat pies), and polenta clafouti with confit chicken heart. For evening dessert, expect plates of black pepper cheesecake, rhubarb and celery leaf cheese, and creme brulee pops. According to Murray, the spot — in SW Oak's former Reading Frenzy space — will open sometime "this winter." [EaterWire]
