Nong's on the Weekend; Booze-Filled Pies; Jersey Mike's

CENTRAL EASTSIDE INDUSTRIAL—The pie-makers at Pacific Pie Co. have announced a collaboration with the nearby Distillery Row, offering spirits-inspired pie fillings throughout the month of February. The shop's "Spirited Pie Series" features pies made with a liqueur or spirit from four local distilleries — including Stone Barn BrandyWorks's strawberry liqueur, featured in a strawberry white chocolate pie, and Eastside Distilling's coffee rum. BEAVERTON—NJ-based chain Jersey Mike's Subs has opened its second area location. Per the Portland Business Journal, the sandwich shop opened last Wednesday at the Canyon Place shopping center in Beaverton. Jersey Mike's first Portland locale is inside the Cascade Station complex near the PDX airport. [PBJ]
