Lawmakers in Salem are currently debating a bill that would make it legal, as with beer, to fill up growlers of wine to-go. Per the Oregonian, breweries and brewpubs have long been able to fill the half-gallon-jug containers with a guest's microbrew of choice. The new provision would allow wineries to sell their wine by the keg to a licensed bar, where a customer can bring in their refillable growler for at-home consumption. [OregonLive]
