As one of the U.S. State Department's "culinary diplomats," Beast chef/owner Naomi Pomeroy recently traveled to Myanmar, where she lent a hand at the Yangon Bakehouse, a venture that teaches culinary skills to disadvantaged women. The Oregonian has a report of the trip.
