Chicago-Style Pizzeria Via Chicago Goes Deep on Alberta

New, 11 comments

And now, a look inside Via Chicago's new brick-and-mortar restaurant, which made its debut at the corner of NE Alberta and 20th over the weekend. As previously reported, the pizzeria — best known as the PSU farmer's market stand that serves Chicago-"inspired" pizzas — is the project of Green Dragon Pub co-founders Kevin Reynolds and Tonya Mayhew, who staked their claim on the newly constructed NE Alberta space all the way back in summer 2011.

In addition to pizza by the slice (including vegan and gluten-free options), the spot offers salads, sandwiches, build-your-own whole pies, and eight beers on-tap. Hours of operation: 11a.m. to 10p.m., Sunday and Monday;
11a.m. to 11p.m., Tuesday through Thursday; 11a.m. to 2a.m., Friday and Saturday.
