New, 2 comments

NORTHEAST—Because vegetarians deserve love, too (and presumably because normal Valentine's Day reservations have long been unavailable), Naomi Pomeroy's Beast will offer an all-vegetarian Valentine's Day dinner on Tuesday, February 12. Two seatings are available for the six-course dinner (featuring menu items like spaghetti squash gratin, and a farro with kale, black trumpet mushrooms, pickled artichoke and a truffled poached egg. Reservations are $125 including wine pairings and are available by calling the restaurant 503-841-6968. [EaterWire]

WEST END—Baker Lisa Clark has announced an opening date for her upcoming brick-and-mortar outpost of Petunia's Pies and Pastries: The shop, set for SW Alder Street, is shooting for a March 1 opening date. [EaterWire]

DIVISION/CLINTON—An OLCC application reveals exactly two new details about Duane Sorenson's upcoming pizzeria/bakery Roman Candle: The spot will feature 32 seats, and in true bakery style, plans to be open early, from 7a.m. to 9p.m., daily. [EaterWire]
