New, 3 comments

CENTRAL EASTSIDE INDUSTRIAL—Cambodian food cart Sok Sab Bai announced last week that it would soon open a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Division/Clinton's Bara Sushi space. The last day of the colorful food cart will be this Wednesday, March 13; no word yet on the restaurant's opening date, but Bara Sushi will remain open until March 16. [EaterWire]

SE BELMONT—After a hiatus, move, and change of ownership, breakfast cart Blues City Biscuits has re-emerged. The cart is now owned by Erik Mitchell (who also owns Cackalack's Hot Chicken Shack) and is parked at SE Belmont's Good Food Here pod; the menu still features Southern-style buttermilk biscuit sandwiches, grits, and collared greens. DIVISION/CLINTON—Popular guisados spot Mi Mero Mole has announced the addition of a Friday lunch service starting this week. Per an email blast: "While we don't have a big enough kitchen to open every day for lunch, we wanted to do something for those in our community looking for another lunch option." The full menu will be available starting at noon, with a "lunch special" option including soup or salad, choice of guisado, and drink for $8.75. [EaterWire]
