The Oregonian business section takes a look at Milwaukie's Pietro's Pizza, a homegrown chain that rapidly expanded to 80 stores in the 1990s, only to file for bankruptcy and return to its more humble, family-run roots. Just three Pietro's locations remain in what the O calls an "unlikely survival story," though it appears the brand remains strong: Per the article, the Milwaukie location runs through "1,400 pounds of cheese, 100 gallons of sauce and 2,000 pounds of pizza dough a week."
