WWeek reports a major stall at Old Town's Grove Hotel project, the "Asian-themed" hostel that once courted restaurant tenants like Koi Fusion and a Portland outpost of NYC's Baohaus, the late-night spot by Eddie Huang. Per WW, developer David Gold and partners are unable to pledge additional collateral to the project, and "he and fellow investors couldn't get a restaurant tenant" unless the city evicted the neighboring Right 2 Dream Too homeless camp.
