DIVISION/CLINTON—Nick Zukin's guisados spot Mi Mero Mole has announced an expanded menu that now features onetime daily specials as permanent options. In addition to a tamale of the day, Zukin will serve up ceviche, frijoles charros ("cowboy beans" stewed with tomatoes, onions, chiles, chorizo, and bacon), and Oaxacan memelas, described as "a cross between a sope and huarache." Changes are in effect now. [EaterWire]
NORTHWEST/ALPHABET DISTRICT—The recent menu revamp at Scott Dolich's NW tavern the Bent Brick meant a happy hour menu revamp was on the way, too, and here it is: The spot's new happy hour separates bites by price — ranging from $1 to $6 — with options like smoked salmon chips (on the low end), oyster mushroom salads, and steelhead roe tea sandwiches. Happy hour is now available from 4-6:30p.m., seven days a week. [EaterWire]
N. MISSISSIPPI/WILLIAMS—Ten-year-old brunch spot Equinox has announced a new chef's in the kitchen, in the form of Mark Cuneo (an alum of Fratelli and Forest Grove's Stecchino Bistro). Per the press release, Cuneo's early signature dishes include saltimbocca and steamed mussels with coconut milk. [EaterWire]
