The beer buses are back. The Mercury reports that the mini-beer-bus fleet owned by Captured by Porches Brewing, which had its licenses pulled by the city of Portland in January, was recently granted the proper permits by the OLCC and can continue pouring under its existing special event license. Per the Merc, the initial denial was "another front" in an ongoing political battle between the city and OLCC — "part of a larger fight over the city's ability to shape the rules for drinking establishments in its borders."
