Courtney Sproule Reveals din din's Lunch, Brunch Menus

Chef Courtney Sproule's hotly anticipated brick-and-mortar incarnation of her Din Din Supper Club is set to debut in NE's Bison Building next week. Although the evening meal will feature Din Din's signature lineup of rotating, themed events (kicking things off with a David Bryne-theme dinner party), Sproule has revealed early menus for the spot's planned weekday breakfast and lunch service (and weekend brunch).

The weekday "Fee Fee" menu offers a full espresso bar, sweet items like pain au chocolate and creme fraiche pound cake, and lighter lunch fare like a lentil du Puy salad (with blue cheese and endive) and chicken salad with pastis aioli, soft-boiled egg, and chicories. The rotating "Matinee" brunch menu hints at dishes like a lamb crepinette (with walnut lemon hollandaise, fried egg, and spring leek sunchoke rosti), pastis potato salad with poached egg and lardons; and pain d'épices (a spiced gingerbread) with goat cheese, ham, and honey.

The inaugural supper club event, inspired by Bryne's True Stories, will christen the new 50-seat space from April 25-27 and May 2-4. More information as it becomes available.
