Hot Hott Sauce

Back from New York City's First Annual Hot Sauce Expo, Andrew Garrett, Portland chef and owner of NW Elixirs, can now say that each of his four hot sauces is award-winning. Last weekend, Garrett showcased his line of sauces, numbering 1 through 4, on the Williamsburg, Brooklyn waterfront, where he and the nation's best hot sauce artisans converged for a weekend of fiery delight. Rock stars Eddie Ojeda (Twisted Sister) and Bumble Foot (Guns n Roses) also served up their own signature sauces at the expo. [EaterWire]
