Former Vino Paradiso and DOC chef Paul Losch is moving out to wine country. Portland Monthly brings news that Losch will team with former food cart owner Kyle Lattimer to open a "half restaurant, half tavern" dubbed Ruddick/Wood. Per PoMo, the 100-seat spot, in downtown's Rouge Blanc Gallery building, will be divided into two distinct spaces with a "refined roadhouse" vibe: the restaurant side will offer counter-service weekday lunch, brunch, and full-service dinner, while the tavern offers a "scaled-down" menu alongside its beverage and cocktail program.
