Barwares' Late Happy Hour; Lincoln's Gnocchi Menu

New, 1 comment

ALAMEDA/BEAUMONT—Johanna Ware's late-night spot Barwares will launch an extended late-night happy hour menu next week. While a current late-night HH offers a rotating list of specials (depending on the day), Ware's new menu will stay constant throughout the week. Per the Oregonian, favorites like oysters, chicken lollipops, and a lemongrass pork sandwich remain; dishes like crab noodle soup, pork skin ragu, and the spot's signature fried kale are new additions. WILLIAMS/MISSISSIPPI—In preparation for her upcoming gnocchi cookbook, chef Jenn Louis has launched a weekly "gnocchi tasting menu," available at Lincoln from Tuesday through Thursday. The $25 menu offers three half-portions of the little dumplings; the menu is available by reservation only and requires the participation of the whole table. More information available by emailing here. [EaterWire]
