The long-stewing Oregon Public House, which is on-track to become Oregon's first non-profit pub, has set an official opening date: Friday, May 10. The New School delivers an inside look at the Woodlawn bar, which has pledged to donate its operating costs to a predetermined list of eight to 10 charities. Thus far, owner Ryan Saari has raised nearly $200,000 to fund the pub's build-out, meaning "it will be donating profits from the very first pint sold." [New School]
