Raven & Rose Launches Lunch; Another Green Zebra

DOWNTOWN—The Ladd Carriage House's Raven & Rose completes its slow roll-out of services, finally launching its promised lunch service on Monday, May 13. An early look at the lunch menu reveals three sandwich options (including a bison burger, roast beef, and tarragon chicken salad) and seven "larger plate" options ranging from fish and chips to crab-and-shrimp cakes to a classic shepard's pie. Lunch will be available Monday through Friday. R&R, which debuted in early January of this year, now serves lunch, brunch, happy hour, and dinner. [EaterWire]

MOUNT TABOR—Local grocery chainlet Green Zebra Grocery has announced the third location for its "healthy convenience store" concept: Per a press release, founder Lisa Sedlar (formerly of New Seasons) has signed a lease for a new store on 50th & SE Division Streets. Green Zebra's first two locations will open in Kenton (at N. Lombard Street and Peninsular) and Woodstock (at SE 49th and Woodstock Avenue) in the coming months.
