Raven & Rose Launches Lunch; Another Green Zebra

DOWNTOWN—The Ladd Carriage House's Raven & Rose completes its slow roll-out of services, finally launching its promised lunch service on Monday, May 13. An early look at the lunch menu reveals three sandwich options (including a bison burger, roast beef, and tarragon chicken salad) and seven "larger plate" options ranging from fish and chips to crab-and-shrimp cakes to a classic shepard's pie. Lunch will be available Monday through Friday. R&R, which debuted in early January of this year, now serves lunch, brunch, happy hour, and dinner. [EaterWire]

MOUNT TABOR—Local grocery chainlet Green Zebra Grocery has announced the third location for its "healthy convenience store" concept: Per a press release, founder Lisa Sedlar (formerly of New Seasons) has signed a lease for a new store on 50th & SE Division Streets. Green Zebra's first two locations will open in Kenton (at N. Lombard Street and Peninsular) and Woodstock (at SE 49th and Woodstock Avenue) in the coming months. The Mount Tabor spot is scheduled to open in "mid-2014." [EaterWire]
