Lardo chef/owner Rick Gencarelli's anticipated pasta restaurant Grassa has announced an interactive preview date, as part of the recurring Portland Food Adventures dinner series. In a departure from the usual PFA MO, diners will actually head into the kitchen to make the pasta they'll be eating (and no gift certificates will be awarded), but the $75 reservation includes the pasta-making experience, a multi-course family-style dinner (with alcoholic beverages), and pasta and sauce to take home, as well. The event — promised as a preview that takes place "before Grassa opens to the public" — is scheduled for Wednesday, June 5. More information here. [EaterWire]
