The identities of few visiting chefs were revealed last month, but today brings the announcement of Feast Portland's 2013 schedule, and it's full of both local names and (inter)nationally known chefs. Among them: Sean Brock (Husk, McCrady's), Aaron Franklin (Franklin Barbecue), David McMillan and Frédéric Morin (Joe Beef), Christina Tosi (Momofuku Milk Bar), and Michael Voltaggio (ink.)
As previously reported, last year's anchor events — like the Sandwich Invitational, Night Market, and High Comfort — will return, along with new events like a Sunday-morning brunch series that pairs local with national chefs. (The current brunch calender reveals pairings of Bar Avignon's Eric Joppie and the Walrus and the Carpenter's Renee Erickson.) Also returning: the chef's dinner series, which features similar collaborations (Cathy Whims and Stephanie Izard; Scott Snyder and Michael Solomonov of Philadelphia's Zahav) and the hands-on classes ("Pok Pok at Home with Andy Ricker," "Face Meat with Elias Cairo."
Feast Portland will take place September 19-22, and tickets go on sale starting Monday, May 20.
