And now, a quick spin inside Lompoc Brewing's shiny new Lompoc Tavern, now open in the recently constructed Savier Flats building on NW 23rd. After a short hiatus, the Lompoc re-emerges refreshed, flaunting several decor details from the original location (an old door is mounted on the wall, stained glass) as well as aesthetic elements that echo spots around town (reclaimed wood tables and booths). The outdoor back patio is now a memory, but has been replaced with a couple outdoor tables directly on NW 23rd. And despite the polished new look, the Lompoc Tavern is a 21-and-over spot, with plans to resurrect its "Miser Monday" drink specials ($2.50 Lompoc pints all day).

Lompoc Tavern is open now. Hours of operation: Monday through Thursday, 11a.m. to 1a.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11a.m. to 2a.m.; Sunday, 11a.m. to midnight.
