He's best known for between-the-buns creations at his two-location sandwich spot Lardo, but chef Rick Gencarelli's readying his take on fresh pasta, Grassa, which will open June 11 in the West End space next door to Lardo West.
And now, here's a look at the spot's menu. As previously reported, Gencarelli will team with Luc alum Ian Hutchings to house-make pastas ranging from chitarra to gnocchi to lasagna, which will be cooked to order and served up in a casual (read: counter service) environment. In addition to pastas, Grassa will offer salads and sides like pork meatballs, calamari, and hot and cold rapini preps; drinkers can expect beer, wine, and cocktails.

Grassa is scheduled to open June 11. But first, Gencarelli and company are throwing a few sneak-preview dinners next week on June 6 and 7, and Eater has several seats to giveaway to each event (five pairs of tickets, to be exact).
