SOUTHWEST—In today's essential non-cronut doughnut news: Krispy Kreme has partnered with the Oregon Zoo to create a fundraising doughnut named for Lily, the zoo's six-month-old baby elephant. According to a press release, the cream-filled glazed doughnut — iced with pink frosting in an elephant shape — will be available in all Portland-area stores this Friday, and a portion of all sales will benefit the ">Campaign for Elephants.
