Bunk Sandwiches Expanding to NE Alberta

Bunk Sandwiches is expanding once again, with plans to open its fourth brick-and-mortar location on NE Alberta Street. The Oregonian is the first to spot this announcement by realtors Benco, which confirms that Bunk's Tommy Habetz and Nick Wood have signed a lease for the neighborhood's new 20:20 Project building at NE Alberta and 21st, the same building that currently houses the Via Chicago pizzeria.

Bunk currently operates three Portland locations — the flagship shop on SE Morrison, the Central Eastside's part-music-venue Bunk Bar, and the newest SW 6th take-out shop, which debuted in October 2011. More information as it becomes available.
