On this week's event-planning EaterWire:

DOWNTOWN—In celebration of Oregon Craft Beer Month, Raven & Rose will team with Oakshire Brewing for a three-course "Brewer's Brunch" on Saturday, July 27. Chef David Padberg will whip up three courses (doughnut muffins, mussels frites, and R&R's meat-heavy Irish breakfast), and for those amenable to drinking at 11a.m., each course will be paired with an Oakshire beer (including its morning-appropriate Overcast Espresso Stout). Reservations are $40 and available by calling the restaurant; more information here.

WILLIAMS/MISSISSIPPI—Hood River's Double Mountain Brewery will bring five special-release beers to a backyard crawfish boil at Interurban on Sunday, July 28. The event's part of the bar's recurring "Last Sunday BBQ" series; more information here.

OLD TOWN—As previously reported, Bent Brick alum Will Preisch is back in town with a new pop-concept, Holdfast Dining, and the second series of dinners has hit the calendar. On July 27 and 28, Preisch will pop-up inside Old Town's KitchenCru, offering nine courses of varying sizes — plus four wine pairings — for $75. Tickets are available here.

DOWNTOWN—Chef Ken Gordon swamps pastrami for pistou at his upcoming "Summer in the South of France" theme dinner, scheduled for Wednesday, July 24 at his downtown deli Kenny & Zuke's. The four-course, family-style menu features his takes on French dishes like pissaladiere (a pizza-like tart), the aforementioned pistou with pasta, and an ode to aioli that pairs the garlicky mayo with a tray of fish, mussels, vegetables, and eggs. Reservations are $35.50 (or $43.50 including wine) and are available by calling the restaurant.
