Kir Wine Bar Toasts Its Last Night On Saturday, Aug 17

Once considered one of the best wine bars in the country, Kir Wine Bar is closing it doors on Saturday night. The following announcement was made via Facebook on Thursday:

Friends! Kir wine bar will raise its last glass on Saturday August 17th. Thanks so much for years of good humor, good wine, and good friends. We are looking very much forward to the future and hopefully, a new home for Kir. If anyone has any good leads- let us know. Meanwhile, we look very forward to serving you one last glassie in the next coming weeks. We treasure you all and our trove of beautiful memories. Thanks x one million. The Kir Cru

Kir debuted in 2008 as the brainchild of owner/sommelier Amalie Roberts, and grew a loyal fanbase for its intimate room and its small-plates menu. More information about Kir's possible move as it becomes available.
