And Division Makes Three: Salt & Straw SE Now Open

The Salt & Straw ice cream empire continues growing: Yesterday marked the official opening of the scoop shop's third Portland location, on SE Division Street. The space, in a new mixed-use building still under construction, takes the S&S aesthetic further than the existing shops on NE Alberta and NW 21st, with red-and-white striped fabric awnings hanging inside, plaster walls designed to look like waffle cones, and hanging glass light fixtures designed to mimic retro hard candy. The Division shop shares flavors with the other S&S locations — the current seasonal offerings, from goat cheese marionberry habanero to "birthday cakes and blackberries," focus on Oregon berries.

Salt & Straw SE is open now. Hours of operation: 11a.m. to 11p.m., daily.
