On last night's episode of Bravo's Top Chef Masters, Lincoln/Sunshine Tavern chef Jenn Louis was asked to pack her knives and go, in the season's second elimination round. The evening's Night Market-themed elimination challenge tasked chefs with "putting an Asian spin" on a classic American dish, and Louis was sent home for having "dense and chewy" bread on her meatball banh mi with chili mayo and cilantro-cucumber salad.
Louis entered the competition to raise money for cancer research hospital City of Hope. In Louis' exit interview, she says of the TCM experience: "It's incredibly joyful to spend time with other chefs outside of our own kitchens... we all spend a lot of time under a lot of pressure, so when we can decompress, we have a really, really great time together."
