The Korean taco food truck empire KOi Fusion is setting down roots in Southeast Portland. Real estate records show that owner Bo Kwon has signed a lease for a 1,400-square-foot space inside the just-opened D-Street Village site, which notably, will also be home to the much-anticipated second location of Troy MacLarty's Bollywood Theater. The brick-and-mortar will mark KOi's second presence on the somehow-still-burgeoning restaurant row: Before it closed to make way for an unrelated real estate development, KOi Fusion had a truck parked at the D-Street Noshery cart pod, which permanently closed in October 2012.

In addition to a fleet of roving trucks, KOi Fusion currently operates kiosk locations in downtown's World Food Court and at the Bridgeport Village shopping mall. No details yet about plans for the new space; more information as it becomes available.
