New, 1 comment

SOUTHEAST—Mobile gluten-free food cart Thrive Pacific NW has opened a permanently parked second location, next door to Fried Egg I'm in Love on SE Hawthorne. The spot will serve Thrive's rice and veggie bowls Wednesday through Sunday, 11a.m. to 3p.m. [EaterWire]

DIVISION/CLINTON—Bad news for vegan brunchers: Portobello Vegan Trattoria has announced that it will stop its weekend brunch service, effective immediately. According to a Facebook post: "Hopefully we'll re-open for Brunch some time again in the future, but at this point, we are closed for brunch indefinitely." [EaterWire]

E. BURNSIDE—In today's Arbitrary Listage report, Travel + Leisure has dropped its list of the "Best French Restaurants in the U.S.," and Gabe Rucker's Le Pigeon gets a lengthy nod for fueling "a national shift in the definition of what makes a great French restaurant." The article also uses the phrase "quirky edibles" to describe Rucker's cooking. [T+L]
